As the first typhoon to land in my country this year, “Du Surui” has continued to move northward, causing extremely heavy rainfall and flooding in many places.
Beijing, which is located in the central and northern regions of my country, was not spared either. Mentougou and Fangshan received more intense rainfall, and unexpected situations such as landslides and floods occurred.
The floods in Beijing this time was more serious than expected, especially in Mentougou. The flood flooded over the bridge deck and many cars were washed away. After the water receded, garbage and mud were everywhere, and broken down cars could be seen everywhere.
It can be seen from the picture that with the rapid flow of water, many small cars were washed away by the flood; while the private cars that were not washed away were completely submerged in the water and became “accident cars”.
